Science Increasingly Makes the Case for God

Science Increasingly Makes the Case for God, is the title of a recent article in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). The article concludes with “The greatest miracle of all time, without any close seconds, is the universe. It is the miracle of all miracles, one that ineluctably points with the combined brightness of every star to something—or Someone—beyond itself.”
The Genesis creation account reveals that the acts that brought about the universe were “making” something from something else in a cause and effect manner, e.g. making a star from hydrogen under the force of gravity. This is the definition of science – something is made from something else according to natural laws in a cause and effect manner. Thus, we should not be surprised that science has come up with an excellent explanation of how the universe came to be. There is one exception to this in Genesis, the very first act. It was a creation ex-nihilo – out of nothing. An ex-nihilo creation is something that science cannot explain. In fact, this first act of creation “in the beginning…” has become a bigger and bigger mystery over time, as we have gained a better understanding of our origins. The WSJ article discusses the odds of this first act happening naturally and concludes it was a “miracle”. The book of Genesis, which has been around for thousands of years, has been clear on this point all along.
The Genesis One Code clearly shows how Genesis and science agree on what happened and when it happened, as the universe developed, and points out that the one event which science is unable to explain is the beginning of the universe, as it was an ex-nihilo act of creation.
