The Bible contains both super-natural events and natural events.  The natural events are performed by God using the forces and laws of nature.  The super-natural events are miraculous.  In The Genesis One Code both types of events, as they pertain to the creation narrative, are discussed.  It is shown that science has good explanations for all the natural creation events but has been unable to explain the three major super-natural creation events.  These remain the three big unanswered scientific questions on our origins.

Since science deals only with natural events within the laws of physics, it often tries to find a natural explanation for the super-natural.  The following joke reminds us that this approach does not usually work.

A little boy named Michael returned home from school, and his father asked: “What did you learn today?”

Michael answered:  “Well, Dad, we learned how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead his people out of Egypt.”

“How did he do that?”
The boy said: “Moses was a strong wrestler and he beat up Pharaoh, then while he was K.O., Moses got all the people together and ran towards the sea.  When they got there, Moses had his engineers build a huge pontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely.  Once they got to the other side, they blew up the pontoon bridge while the Egyptians were trying to cross.”

The father was shocked: “Is that really what the teacher taught you?”

The boy replied: “Well, no, Dad. But if I told it the way the teacher did, you’d never believe it!”
